Membership Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the membership committee is to expand active and retired members’ awareness of the availability and value of membership in NEA-R and OEA-R so as to increase the number of members.

Activities:

1. Hold a raffle at each RA, at MegaConference and at Summer Leadership.
2. Publicize the roles and activities of NEOEA-R members.
3. Have membership forms and a committee member to promote membership at each RA, MEGA Conference, Summer Leadership and any other forums as they become available.  The purpose would be to encourage pre-retired membership while still active, plus add retirees.
4. Review and update the previously written membership materials that outlined reasons to join.
