The NEOEA-R Organizing Committee held its 2012 Spring Conference on April 11, 2012 at the NEOEA Conference Center in Garfield Heights.

The conference began at 9:00 AM with a continental breakfast.  After a brief welcome, participants chose from four topics at each of two breakout sessions.  The breakout session selections for this year were:

• A: Health Care Utilization: Pension reform from STRS’ perspective, with Kim Moore
• B: NEA Member Benefits — What’s in It for Me?: Find out the latest and the greatest, with Guy Kendall-Freas
• C: Legislative Update: Pension reform and other current issues, with Bill Leibensperger
• D: Apps for Mobile Devices: For you and the grand-kids, with Nancy Wonson

After the sessions, the retirees enjoyed a great lunch and some socializing .
